This type of Activated Carbon Powder is manufactured from PINE WOOD only by acid washed process through steam activation. PINE WOOD based Charcoals are soft, have a high degree of porosity, large surface area, high purity and therefore give better result compare with other Carbon.

Washed activated carbon powder contains less iron, ash, acid & water soluble matter. It passes through i. P. , b. P. , & u. S. P. Parameters. So, it is quite suitable for bulk drug industries etc.

Unwashed activated carbon powder contains high iron, ash, acid & water soluble matter compared to washed activated carbon powder. So, it is quite suitable for dyes & intermediates industries, fine chemicals etc.
